HBO has extended their sneak peek at the True Blood Season 3 premiere from 6 minutes to 8. Those additional minutes change dramatically change the tone of Sookie’s journey to Faerie land.
At first when Sookie arrives to join her fellow Faeries, it appears as if she’s arrived in some sort of Eden paradise. All is not as it seems as Sookie finds herself on the run from pointy eared orc-like creatures that are hurling some kind of magical grenades at her. To escape, she jumps through some sort of collapsing magical hole in the ground.
There’s also a new commercial from True Blood Season 3 making the rounds that includes quite a bit of new footage. You can watch the new commercial and first 8 minutes from the premiere below.
The True Blood Season 3 premiere will debut on Sunday, June 26.
