Production is underway on Falling Skies: Season 2, the TNT alien invasion series from executive producer Steven Spielberg.
The second season will pick up where the first left off with Tom (Noah Wyle) giving himself up to the aliens. He’ll use the opportunity to strike up a dialogue with them in hopes of not only freeing his son Ben, but also discovering more about the aliens’ master plan for Earth and the human race.

Falling Skies also stars Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton and Drew Roy. Look for the Season 2 premiere in early summer 2012. An exact date will be passed along when available.
