Disney Home Entertainment has been advertising this fall’s debut of the animated new classic Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray Disc as a Diamond Edition release since early 2009. Other than its imminent arrival, little else is known about this anticipated next entry in the Diamond Collection.
Unfortunately I do not have a firm Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray release date yet to share, but I do have a sneak peek at what you will find in stores when it arrives.
Below are a pair of covers for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray Disc releases. As with last fall’s Diamond Edition of Snow White, Disney will release one package geared towards Blu-ray owners with a pack-in DVD, and a second package geared towards DVD owners with a pack-in Blu-ray. Though the cases are different in design and size, the contents are expected to be identical.
