Fede Alvarez’s new Evil Dead starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on July 16 courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The gory remake from producers Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and Robert G. Tapert was a box office success with over $81.9 million earned worldwide, $54 million of which came from North America, during its theatrical run. With a budget of only $17 million, a sequel is already in the early stages of development.
Online retailer Amazon.com has revealed the cover art for Evil Dead on Blu-ray which you can see below. An UltraViolet digital copy will be included, however a physical DVD disc will not.
