Magnolia’s Sci-fi thriller Europa Report is more Moon and less anything with a big budget and mass destruction. It has been getting rave reviews after its theatrical release this past Friday, and will be headed to Blu-ray and DVD sooner rather than later.
Europa Report features a score by The Walking Dead’s Bear McCreary and stars Christian Camargo, Embeth Davidtz, Anamaria Marinca, Michael Nyqvist, Daniel Wu, Karolina Wydra and Sharlto Copley in the story of a space mission to Jupiter’s moon Europa in search of possible alien life underneath the moon’s icy surface. The trip doesn’t go as smoothly as expected, and what they find on Europa is nothing they could have prepared for.
Magolia Home Entertainment is releasing the Blu-ray and DVD editions of Europa Report on October 8, a little over two months from now. In addition to a limited edition holofoil embossed o-card sleeve, the Blu-ray edition will include the following bonus features:
