A new teaser trailer for Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno starring Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy and Daryl Sabara is now online and says a lot about the creepy horror flick without saying much at all.
In the film, a group of student activists from New York City make the trek from North America to South America in order to assist a endangered tribe on the brink of extinction. Apparently the students didn’t do their homework as the tribe has other ideas in mind, including serving the students up for dinner.
The short teaser offers glimpses of the students in captivity as well as bloodied members of the tribe sharpening their cannibalism “tools.” The trailer ends with a footnote declaring that the film was shot on location in the rainforests of Peru and that the native tribe featured in the film had never been on camera before. From the looks of orange man with the freaky mismatached eyes I’m not surprised.
