Director Quentin Tarantino tasked Eli Roth to craft a mini-movie called Stolz der Nation (Nation’s Pride) that will be included in the theatrical cut of Inglourious Basterds.
To help promote Inglourious Basterds via the film-within-a-film, Roth has slapped together a trailer for Nation’s Pride blending black and white photography with modern multi-layered camera effects. Check out the trailer below.
“There is this Nazi propaganda movie that is like a film-within-a-film,” Roth explained about Nation’s Pride. “And it’s like a whole other movie. I’m going to, like, resurrect the Nazi party. They will be like, ‘We love his movie. But he’s a Jew! But it’s such a good movie. But a Jew made it!’ It’s going to really throw off all the neo-Nazi’s. I can’t wait.”
