At E3 today, Nintendo announced the long-awaited debut of Mario on the Wii will happen before Thanksgiving when ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ hits stores on November 12.
In addition to the new screenshots, we also learned there will be opportunities in the game for a second player to join in and aid player one in ensuring Mario successfully traverses the stars. The second player can aim the Wii Remote at stardust and either collect it for Mario, or shoot it back at encroaching enemies. He also has the ability to sweep aside or stall enemies to further clear a path for Mario.
