Fresh from E3 are the first US screenshots from ‘Folklore,’ Sony’s fantasy adventure coming exclusively to Playstation 3 later this year.
As the screens suggest, ‘Folklore’ is all about exploring fantastical worlds and pummeling any creatures that stand in your way. Japanese audiences should be more in tune with the game’s design, mechanics and numerous loading screens than American gamers whom have already experienced the excelled ‘Fable’ on Xbox. Though, the idea of shaking enemies and “pulling” the life out of them with the SIXAXIS controller is intriguing.
Until new evidence surfaces and proves otherwise, ‘Folklore’ has all the makings of a very pretty, shallow hack-n-slash experience.
