Dreamworks Home Entertainment has announced Madagascar is coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 16. The release is timed to coincide with Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, due in theaters November 7.
No firm technical specs have been released at this time and since we don’t have a previous HD DVD version to reference, anything beyond a 1080p transfer would be pure speculation.
Likewise, no supplemental features have been announced at this time. We’ll certainly pass the list around should Paramount choose not to go the bare bones route.
