Music Box Films has pushed back the release date for Stieg Larsson’s Dragon Tattoo Trilogy (aka The Millennium Trilogy) starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist on Blu-ray Disc and DVD from January 25 to February 22, 2011.
The trilogy set that will include The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest was originally timed to debut alongside Hornet’s Nest later this month. The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest on Blu-ray and DVD is still scheduled to become available on January 25.
A handful of bonus features will appear in the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy set on Blu-ray and DVD. They are as follows:
- Millennium: The Story – A 53 minute documentary detailing the phenomenon of the ‘Millennium’ trilogy and the personal history of author Stieg Larsson up until his tragic death before The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was published
- A 20 minute interview with Noomi Rapace (Lisbeth Salander)
- A 15 minute interview with Michael Nyqvist (Mikael Blomkvist)
- 9 minute making-of the fight scene between Niederman and Paulo Roberto in The Girl Who Played With Fire
- 15 minute of interview with the cast and crew of The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest
