Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced catalog titles ‘Donnie Brasco (Extended Cut)’ and ‘Revenge (Director’s Cut)’ will be released May 8 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with similar new versions on standard DVD.
‘Donnie Brasco (Extended Cut)’ will include over 20 minutes of never-before-seen footage, a director’s commentary with Mike Newell, and the ‘Donnie Brasco: Out from the Shadows’ featurette. The film will be presented in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 audio.
Details are a bit sketchy right now for ”Revenge (Director’s Cut)’ other than assuming a 1080p transfer and PCM 5.1 audio. As soon as additional information is released we’ll pass it along and update the disc details accordingly.
