Disney and Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced The Rookie, starring Dennis Quaid, will be released March 4 on Blu-ray Disc. The Rookie was previously released over 5 years ago on standard DVD.
The Rookie will be presented in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and uncompressed PCM audio.
Special features will include an audio commentary with director John Lee Hancock and actor Dennis Quaid; Spring Training: Baseball Tips From The Pros featurette; “The Inspirational Story Of Jim Morris” featurette; and deleted scenes with director introductions.
Look for The Rookie on Blu-ray Disc to carry an SRP of $29.99. Check back regularly for the addition of high resolution cover art.
