Pirates are all the rage these days with adults soaking up Black Sails and toddlers dancing along with Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Considering the leading lady in Disney’s Fairies franchise, Tinker Bell, will eventually partner with Peter Pan and take on old Captain Hook, it was only a matter of time before pirates made their way in the world of Fairies.
Disney has released the most robust look yet at The Pirate Fairy, the latest chapter in the Disney Fairies saga and first not to exclusively feature Tinker Bell. Joining the franchise are the Pirate Fairy herself, Zarina (voiced by Christina Hendricks), as well as a pirate, James (voiced be Tom Hiddleston). Could a rendezvous with Peter Pan be too far off? The Pirate Fairy will premiere on Blu-ray and DVD combo pack on a release date of April 1.
