The 50th anniversary edition of The Diary of Anne Frank and film’s June 16 Blu-ray debut happen to coincide with Anne’s 80th birthday. Simultaneous celebrations warrant a loaded Blu-ray release, don’t you think?
Fox is ensuring the Blu-ray lives up to the film’s heritage by including all of the previously released DVD bonus features supplemented by seven all-new features overseen by George Stevens Jr. In comparison, the 50th anniversary DVD will only include the new bonus features and legacy commentary track.
