Rather than wait until this fall and release the second season of Dexter on Blu-ray Disc alongside a probably season three release, CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment are bringing more Dexter to Blu-ray a lot sooner.
Dexter: Season Two on Blu-ray has been announced for a May 5 release. The package will include all 12 episodes from the season presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
As with season one, CBS will force you to connect to BD-Live to access bonus features. Those features are slated to include the following.
- Blood Fountains featurette
- Dark Defender series
- Podcasts
- First 2 episodes of Nurse Jackie and The United States of Tara
