Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu-ray Pre-Orders Soar; Sneak Preview Clip

Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu-ray Pre-Orders Soar; Sneak Preview ClipTomorrow is a big day for Harry Potter fans as Warner Bros. is releasing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on Blu-ray and DVD, capping an eight-film epic adventure for Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in theaters and on home video.

I’ve been watching Deathly Hallows Blu-ray pre-orders on Amazon.com all week and it’s amazing how dominant sales for the title have been. At the time of this article, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on Blu-ray and DVD combo pack is in the first sales slot, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Blu-ray and DVD is in the third slot (it’s currently on sale for $9.99), the Harry Potter: The Complete Collection Years 1-7 Blu-ray box set is in the fourth spot, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 movie-only edition is in the ninth spot.

Harry Potter would be entrenched in the top three spots if the Stanley Kubrick: Limited Edition Collection on Blu-ray and DVD weren’t Amazon’s Gold Box Deal of the Day. Even so, three of the top four spots isn’t too shabby at all.

Also on the Potter Blu-ray front, Warner Bros. has released a clip from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu-ray and DVD bonus features. In the clip, Daniel Radcliffe talks casually to J.K. Rowling about how he had an allegic reaction to the first pair of Potter glasses.

Matt is currently working on our Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu-ray review. If you’d like to get in on any of these Potter Blu-ray titles, jump over to Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers page.
