We’ve just received word that the new Dead Space: Downfall Blu-ray Disc and DVD movie releasing next week has a little added bonus packed in.
Apparently somewhere on either the Blu-ray or DVD version are cheat codes for EA’s Dead Space game. As it was worded to us, “For each system, there are two cheats and two codes for each cheat.” I read that as eight codes total, four for Playstation 3 and four for Xbox 360. Then again, I’ve never been good at riddles.
We don’t know if these codes are hidden in the movie (unlikely) or buried in the menus somewhere.
By chance we already have the Blu-ray version in-hand and have seen the film. It’s bloody and fun, the perfect prequel to the game. In regards to the codes, we haven’t had a chance to pick through the extras yet but will be doing so later today.
