Writer and director David Cronenberg got it start in Hollywood decades before lensing A History of Violence. One of this early films, 1979’s Fast Company, has been flashed a green flag to speed onto Blu-ray Disc on April 28.
Fast Company stars William Smith (Maniac Cop, Red Dawn), John Saxon (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Enter the Dragon) and Claudia Jennings in a story about a corporate sponsored racing team and the fast life that comes with it.
Blue Underground will present Fast Company in its original widescreen 1.85:1 aspect ration in 1080p resolution with a selection of either 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio or 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround EX.
D-BOX Motion Code will be incorporated onto the Fast Company Blu-ray Disc. This is the second time Blue Underground has utilized D-BOX on Blu-ray, the first being The Final Countdown which is already available.
