Universal’s Fast & Furious had a strong run at Mann’s Chinese Theater with a little help from D-BOX motion-controlled chairs that debuted with the film earlier this month.
In conjunction with the debut, D-BOX has passed along a promotional video that shows how the D-BOX chairs fit into Mann’s and moviegoer reaction after having experience Fast & Furious with Motion Code turned on. There’s also some marketing survey jargon that basically says people like D-BOX and want to see more of it.
The overwhelmingly positive response begs these questions: Will D-BOX expand to more theaters beyond Hollywood and Surprise, Arizona? And will replace Fast & Furious with D-BOX code or something else? You’ll know the answers when I do.
