I expected some big lavish Blu-ray announcements to be made by now in conjunction with Comic-Con but for the time being this confirmation will have to suffice.
Fox Home Entertainment has supplied UGO with a promotional trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Liev Schreiber, that dates the Blu-ray Disc and DVD arrival on September 15.
The trailer introduces the catchphrase Fox is employing for the marketing campaign, “Get Snikt!” In case you’re scratching your head trying to figure out what that means, the term refers to the noise Wolverine’s claws make when popping out for action.
I have my eyes peeled for a full Fox press release that will hopefully confirm all of Wolverine’s alternate post-credits endings are included on home video. Look for that, and cover art, as soon as they become available.
