Comic-Con: Star Wars The Clone Wars: Season Two Preview Trailer

Star Wars always makes a huge splash at Comic-Con and without a live-action franchise to work with, LucasFilm continues to pin their hopes on the ongoing animated Clone Wars series.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars was a big success for LucasFilm and The Cartoon Network beginning last August when the first four episodes were released theatrically following by the rest of season one which began in October. Each subsequent episode bested its predecessor, building to a finale that introduced conscienceless gunslinger bounty hunter Cad Bane and left the Jedi embarrassed as the season concluded.

Season two promises to continue the reign of destruction for the highest bidder by Bane and also shift focus to bounty hunters in general. Original trilogy baddie Bossk has already been confirmed, and the Comic-Con teaser trailer, which you can watch below, reveals the appearance of Mandalorian Warriors aka the group where Jango Fett and son Boba originated.

There’s a lot of neat stuff indicating a darker edge to season two in the trailer so kick back and enjoy. Season two will premiere this fall on The Cartoon Network.
