Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the box office giant Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is forecast to rain big sales January 5 on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
The Blu-ray version will include the feature film in 2.35:1 framed 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, a DVD version on a second disc and a digital copy transferable to PSP via PS3 on a third disc. A 3D viewing mode will not be included on any version.
The digital copy is exclusive to Blu-ray, as is an interactive Splat! button that lets you throw food at the screen any time during the film. BD-Live access will also be built in along with these shared bonus features:

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on Blu-ray has a suggested retail price of $39.95 which should translate to Amazon.com pricing in the $27 range. I will add the active pre-order listing as soon as Amazon makes it available.
