Disney’s animated classic Cinderella is coming to Blu-ray for the first time ever on October 2, 2012, packaged in one of three different Diamond Edition disc configurations. A two-disc set will include the Blu-ray and DVD versions of the film. A three-disc set will add a digital copy and upgrade the cover art from blue to gold.
The true Cinderella and Disney fan might bite at the big six-disc set. It feature jewelry box packaging and the addition of Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: Twist in Time on Blu-ray and DVD. Each of the six discs will fit comfortably in an included picture storybook.
The Blu-ray version of Cinderella will be presented in its original 1.33:1 aspect ration in 1080p video and 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. An alternate 5.1 Disney Enhanced Theater Mix will also be included for those without the ability to process and listen to lossless audio.
