The third episode of Syfy’s Caprica airs this evening and will introduce Patton Oswalt playing an influential “voice of the people” talk show host named Baxter Sarno. The show could use him as ratings dropped roughly 12% from 1.5 million to 1.4 million between the series premiere and episode 2.
Patton’s involvement ties into the aftermath of Amanda Graystone’s emotionally fueled proclamation to the people of Caprica about her daughter’s suspected involvement in the terrorist bombing. Reaching out through Baxter’s audience could be the key to patching the publicity nightmare surrounding the Graystone family; that is, if Daniel is willing to brave Baxter’s questions.
The ‘Reins of a Waterfall’ sneak peek below centers around the Adama family whom are adjusting to life without a female presence. New influences are spilling into young William’s life his mother would have never allowed that are sure to shape him into the colonial fighter he will one day become.
Caprica’s ‘Reins of a Waterfall’ airs tonight at 9/8c on Syfy.
