A rumor floating around the Internet for well over a month suggests Battlestar Galatica: The Complete Series is coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 28. Today that rumor inched one step closer towards becoming fact.
Preceding the Caprica DVD’s main menu is a Battlestar Galactica promo for the complete series on DVD. The promo boasts all-new deleted scenes, featurettes and the uncut version of Razor.
Not skipping the promo pays off as it ends by stating the complete series is coming soon to “DVD and Blu-ray high def.” Consider that official confirmation straight from Universal.
No mention of Caprica coming to Blu-ray is made in the promo. No matter how die hard of a Blu-ray follower you may be, make an exception for Caprica on DVD. Ron Moore, once again, does not disappoint.
