Bionic Commando will swing onto Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 19 per an official announcement by Capcom this morning.
In the next-gen debut of the former 8-bit hero, you’ll finally be able to take your bionic arm abilities online for what Capcom describes as an “in-depth multiplayer mode” where you won’t be the only one with a jacked up robotic arm.
Capcom describes the return of Bionic Commando as follows: The ultimate fusion of man and machine, Nathan Spencer, is back as a government operative who, after distinguishing himself in a fierce conflict against the Imperials, is betrayed and falsely imprisoned by the very people he unquestioningly served. However, when bio terrorists detonate an experimental device over Ascension City and then occupy it, there is only one option open to the authorities – reactivate Nathan Spencer.
