The only acceptable outcome in the minds of Brutal Legends fans was reached today in the ongoing dispute between publisher Activision and developer Double Fine.
Activision had sought to block the October release of Brutal Legend on Xbox 360 and PS3 by Electronic Arts claiming it still maintained the publishing rights.
Double Fine, meanwhile had already signed with EA and countersued claiming Activision had terminated the agreement and was trying to minimize competition against their fall release of Guitar Hero 5.
Brutal Legend stars the voice of Jack Black as a band roadie who finds himself whisked away to a mythical world where he must battle the forces of evil and rock on. It will arrive in stores on October 13.
