Over the past couple weeks I have heard people talking about the upcoming The Breaking Bad series finale that had barely heard of the show only a month ago. The massive amount of exposure and coverage Breaking Bad has garnered as the finale approaches has many wondering what all the fuss is about and anxious for a marathon so they can catch up before the last episode premieres.
AMC is giving everyone with access to its channel one last shot to watch Breaking Bad from start to finish, in order, with very few interruptions. The Breaking Bad marathon TV schedule will start on this upcoming Wednesday, September 25, and run non-stop until the late night hours of Friday, September 27, covering the first four seasons of the show.
After a short break, Season 5 of Breaking Bad will begin at 11pm on Saturday, September 28 and run right up until the series finale on Sunday, September 29 at 9/8c on AMC. Remember that the final two episodes will run 75 minutes each as a bonus for fans who want more Breaking Bad before it bows out for good.
Once the Breaking Bad series finale has aired, a special one-hour episode of Talking Bad will air with host Chris Hardwick. Series creator Vince Gilligan will be joined by cast members Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemmons, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks, in addition to a special appearance by comic Jimmy Kimmel.
After Breaking Bad has wrapped up its television run, attention will turn toward the impressive Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Blu-ray set, which will drop into stores in special barrel packaging on November 26. Then the wait will begin for what is expected to be the 2014 premiere of the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul, which will also air on AMC.
