The Bond 50 Blu-ray box set is a sight to behold. It’s not only well made, but includes every James Bond film up through Bond 50 with a special slot left open for next spring’s release of Skyfall.
You weren’t alone if you picked up Bond 50 on Blu-ray over the past few months. According to Fox Home Entertainment and MGM, the set has become to top-selling Blu-ray box set of 2012. That means it has outsold Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures and Star Wars: The Complete Saga, two extremely popular sets in their own right.
Total sales for Bond 50 are said to have broken $50 million worldwide, a fitting number considering the “50” in Bond 50 represents the franchise’s 50th anniversary being celebrated this year.
