Warner Home Video is tapping the 1993 geriatric comedy Grumpy Old Men for Blu-ray Disc on July 7. This marks the first new appearance of the film on home video in nearly four years.
The previous DVD edition was an ugly snapper case with a flimsy cardboard stock cover and promoted a full-screen transfer.
The Blu-ray edition will keep the film’s 1.85:1 1080p aspect ratio and beef it up with 1080p video. Audio specs, and bonus features for that matter, are not known at this time.
