MGM and Fox Home Entertainment have released disc specs for a trio of anticipated upcoming Blu-ray Disc titles.
‘Dances With Wolves,’ the theatrical edition, will be on a 25GB disc and presented with 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio. ‘Hoosiers,’ arriving just in time for March Madness, will be authored in HDMV (mpeg-2) on a 25GB disc and presented with 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio. Last, but not least, ‘The Thomas Crown Affair‘ will also be authored in HDMV (mpeg-2) on a 25GB disc and presented with 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio.
Missing from the announcement is any indication of extra features on any of these titles which seems to fit MGM’s early strategy of focusing on audio/video presentation in lieu of the total package.
All three titles will be available March 13 with an SRP of $39.98.
