Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is currently the top selling Blu-ray Disc title on Amazon’s hourly Blu-ray bestsellers chart. The reason is simple: Amazon has cut the price for the Blu-ray and DVD combo pack down to $13.99 or a cool 65% off the nearly $40 SRP.
That’s not the only Blu-ray title Amazon has lowered the price on. In poking around I found Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole for $13.99, The Other Guys for $15.49 and Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice with Nicholas Cage and I Am Number Four standout Teresa Palmer for $16.99.
I don’t know how long these Blu-ray sales prices will last, especially Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. It’s already selling so fast that Amazon may soon revert to a $20+ price. If you want it for under $14 then it’s better to act now versus later.
