The Avengers, Brave and The Hunger Games have enjoyed long stints leading the top of Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers chart. Today a new sale has bumped them all down a notch and put Tom Cruise on top of the mountain.
Amazon is selling Brad Bird’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol starring Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner on Blu-ray and DVD combo for $9.99 or 78% off the $44.99 list price. I’ve seen it get as low as $14.99 in a sale before, but never this low.
Because of the hot sale, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol on Blu-ray and DVD is not only sitting at the top of Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers chart, but is also backordered a few days to July 24. The Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce saga isn’t affecting demand for the film at this price.
