Retailer listings have begun to appear for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s Hitman, confirming our previous January 10 report of a March 11 Blu-ray Disc street date.
According to the cover art, Hitman’s home video debut will be in an all-new unrated cut. In addition, the cover art includes a new banner with “Digital Copy” on it, which we speculate means owners will be able to burn a lesser resolution copy of the film onto their PC or mobile devices ala Live Free or Die Hard on DVD last November.
Please remember, all pre-release information is not considered cast in stone until the studio makes their announcement. We expect specs, special features, and high-res cover art to become available when the announcement is made.
Hitman (Unrated) on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $39.98.
