The Oscars are just around the corner and Sony is bringing the hype to Blu-ray.
Earlier we reported Best Picture winner Gandhi has been given a Blu-ray Disc release. We can also confirm another Best Picture winner, Kramer vs. Kramer starring Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman, is being given a Blu-ray Disc treatment by Sony on the same day: February 17.
Sony will present Kramer vs. Kramer in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
No bonus features are known at this time. Should some be included, we’ll pass them along as soon as Sony announces them.
Kramer vs. Kramer on Blu-ray will retail for $28.95. High-res cover art should be available in the very near future.
