Best Buy is approaching their Fourth of July “sparkling” sales event by running a four-day promotion that began today and runs through Saturday, July 7. Let’s take a look at some of the home entertainment electronics and video game deals that stand out from the crowd.
Best Buy’s featured Fourth of July sales item is an Insignia 55″ Class 1080p LCD HDTV for $499.99. This set is considered a Best Buy exclusive and normally sells for $799.99 so the discount is relatively steep. Best of all, Best Buy is offering free shipping if you choose to purchase the HDTV at BestBuy.com, located just beneath the daily deals.
Speaking of the Daily Deals running throughout this week, they have been pretty lackluster thus far. The expectation is that Best Buy will pick up their game and offer more compelling daily deals on the actual July 4th holiday. We will have to wait and see just what those deals are.
The featured video game deal is a PlayStation 3 Legacy console bundle that includes Gran Turismo 5 and inFamous 2, as well as a PlayStation Move Essentials Pack. At $299.99 you’re basically getting the PS Move pack for free as the Legacy bundle typically sells for $299. This item also ships for free.
Other video game deals include BioShock Infinite on Xbox 360 or PS3 for $39.99, Far Cry 3 on Xbox 360 or PS3 for $19.99, and Resident Evil Revelations on Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii U for $39.99.
If you were hoping for an Xbox One or PS4 pre-order deal then you might have to wait for Black Friday.
Unfortunately the Blu-ray deals at Best Buy for the Fourth of July aren’t anywhere near as compelling. They have The Master for $16.99, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Blu-ray 3D for $24.99 and Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 on Blu-ray 3D for $24.99. That’s it as far as Blu-ray is concerned.
You can check out all of the Best Buy Fourth of July 2013 sale deals including laptops, monitors, phones, and a Samsung Blu-ray player for $89.99 here at BestBuy.com. Be sure to keep an eye on tomorrow’s daily deal. If they’re good then they won’t last too long.
