Beowulf Coming to Blu-ray in July

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the director’s cut of Beowulf is coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 29, joining Top Gun, Patriot Games and The Sum of All Fears as titles once exclusive to HD DVD now turning blu.

As with the HD DVD version (read our review), Paramount will present Beowulf on Blu-ray in a widescreen 1080p transfer and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD lossless audio.

Supplemental features on Blu-ray will be identical to HD DVD as well, consisting mostly of featurettes and alternate scenes. The full list is as follows.
