Beauty and the Beast will become a member of Disney’s Diamond Collection when it debuts on Blu-ray Disc (and is released on DVD) on October 5. Before that happens, the modern animated classic is returning to theaters as a high definition sing-along in an extremely limited engagement.
Prefacing the sing-along will be a video introduction by singer Jordin Sparks. She’ll take viewers on an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at restoring the film in high definition as well as her new “Beauty and the Beast” music video. Songs included in the sing-along portion are “Be Our Guest,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Belle” and “Gaston.”
The Beauty and the Beast sing-along event will occur next Wednesday, September 29 at 6:30pm and that following Saturday, October 2 at 12pm. Click here to view the closest theater where you can see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast sing-along event.
