While gamers waited on pins and needles during Nintendo’s Wii U event earlier today in anticipation of a Super Smash Bros. announcement, Nintendo chose to go a different direction and reveal an exclusive that no one saw coming.
Coming sometime in 2013 to Wii U is Bayonetta 2, a direct sequel to SEGA’s popular hack-and-slash game that was presumed dead and buried. Since Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo Wii U exclusive, Nintendo will be publishing the game themselves.
All Nintendo is willing to share about Bayonetta 2 on Wii U at this time is the short teaser trailer below. Expect much more to surface about this surprise exclusive once the calendar ticks over to 2013.
