Home Media Magazine is reporting Warner Home Video has finally set a date for Batman Begins on Blu-ray Disc
Batman Begins’ Blu-ray debut will piggyback the animated debut of Gotham Knight on July 8, as well as a new re-packaged version of Batman Begins on DVD. The arrival of Batman Begins on Blu-ray will be nearly 2 years after it first appeared on HD DVD.
Two versions of Batman Begins on Blu-ray will be available: a single-disc release with an SRP of $28.99, and a limited-edition gift set at $49.99. The gift set will include motion art lenticular, exclusive photos, script pages, storyboards, five collectible Batman Begins postcards and $7.50 in movie cash toward a Dark Knight ticket. Both sets will include an exclusive comic book prologue to this summer’s sequel, The Dark Knight.
