Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Coming to Consoles and PC

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD Coming to Consoles and PCUbisoft has announced that the former PS Vita exclusive Assassin’s Creed Liberation is being ported to consoles and PC with an HD makeover. As such, the new-ish game will be known as Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD.

You won’t find Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD sitting on a store shelf later this year. Ubisoft is releasing the souped-up port as a digital download only that will be found for Xbox 360 in the Xbox Live Marketplace, for PlayStation 3 in the PlayStation Network Store, and for PC.

Developer Ubisoft Sofia has not only complete overhauled the visuals for Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, but they have also remastered all the music and sound effects and “revamped the gameplay experience,” mostly likely referring to the control scheme. In addition, new missions have been added that were not available on the original PS Vita release.

What we don’t have is a firm release date, though Ubisoft is promoting Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will be available to download and play sometime in early 2014.
