Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag is set in the Caribbean Sea during the heyday of seafaring pirates. Naturally, naval exploration will play an integral role in the game, much more so than naval combat did in Assassins Creed 3.
Ubisoft has put together a nearly eight-minute long trailer that delves into the ins and out of exploration in the game. Aided by the narration of Game director Ashraf Ismail, it illustrates how Edward Kenway takes to the land and sea to hunt for treasure, capture enemy ships to either salvage or command, and find collectibles.
Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag has the potential to become the best Assassins Creed game of them all. It comes to Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on October 29, followed shortly thereafter by Xbox One and PS4 versions.
