Electronic Arts has released the first screenshots from thier new intellectual property “Army of Two”. Developed by EA’s boutique Montreal studio, “Army of Two” hopes to redefine cooperative gameplay with either a human or AI companion working together from start to finish.
These first screens are plucked from the demonstration we were given at E3 this past May and feature partners Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem operating overseas, as well as some of their customizeable weapons. Numerous situations require Tyson and Elliot to work together to pass, similar to how “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell” helped revolutionize online cooperative missions. And that water is not for show. The ocean is alive with giant waves that must be navigated before reaching the target destination.
“Army of Two” is still on track to be available in 2007 on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
