Argo: Declassified Shares Sneak Peek at Blu-ray Extra

Argo: Declassified Shares Sneak Peek at Blu-ray ExtraArgo is set to make its Blu-ray and DVD debut a few days short of the Academy Awards on February 19, 2013. It has a legitimate shot at taking home the Academy Award for Best Picture and making Ben Affleck even more sought after as a filmmaker than he already is.

We have our copy of Argo on Blu-ray already and will be publishing a review next week. Thanks to Warner Home Video, you can get a sneak peek at one of the disc’s bonus features right now by watching it below.

The feature is called ‘Argo: Declassified’ and takes an in-depth look into the real life events that inspired the film. Some facts were altered for the film such as making the escape through the airport more difficult than it really was and having only one CIA operative in Iran posing as a film producer rather than two. Still, it’s fascinating to compare the film to the events that inspired it and this feature does the trick.

Argo has been hanging out in Amazon.com’s Blu-ray bestsellers top 10 list for several weeks as the film builds momentum toward the Academy Awards and its Blu-ray release in just over a week. The Blu-ray edition also includes the DVD and a digital copy.
