Ron Howard’s Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks, Ed Harris and Bill Paxton is cleared to touch down on Blu-ray Disc for the first time on, ironically, April 13.
The HD DVD holdover from 2006 will come to Blu-ray in 2.35:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio with D-BOX Motion Control support.
Apollo 13 on Blu-ray is being marketed as a 15th anniversary edition and includes the studio’s signature interactive Blu-ray features.
