Amazon.com is at it again with their now infamous high definition buy one, get one free sales. The latest targets Blu-ray Disc after the last, for HD DVD (view that sale), saw inventory vanish on a daily basis.
What sets this sale apart from previous BOGO promotions are the studios and titles involved. The 44 available titles are all from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Lionsgate Home Entertainment, neither of which have participated in a Blu-ray Disc BOGO sale to-date. In addition, a number of just-released titles are included like Die Hard, Robocop, Rescue Dawn, The Day After Tomorrow, Mr. Brooks, The Fly, and others.
We can guarantee there will be a number of fast sell outs in this two-day only buy one, get one free Blu-ray Disc sale due to Fox’s notoriously high Blu-ray Disc pricing, which this sale makes more than affordable. I personally don’t see Die Hard lasting into this evening. If you’re interested, you had best act fast.
