Amazon.com has tapped into Blu-ray as part of its Gold Box deals, a great way to kick off 2009 in the post-Christmas sales and deals season for new Blu-ray player and PS3 owners.
For today only, the Die Hard Collection which includes Die Hard, Die Hard II: Die Harder, Die Hard: With a Vengeance and Live Free and Die Hard, is the Gold Box Deal of the Day.
This four-movie collection carries a retail price of $129.98 and an actual on-shelf price at Amazon of $81.99.
The Gold Box price today for all the Die Hard films on Blu-ray is $46.95, or a little over $10 a movie. That’s almost half off the price Amazon typically sells it for.
