Amazon.com is kicking off the popular Cyber Monday shopping day in 2013 with a Kindle Fire HDX Cyber Monday deal that will discount one of this holiday season’s popular gifts in the electronics category.
Over Black Friday and this past weekend, Amazon discounted one of its older Kindle models but chose not to put any of its new 2013 models on sale. That changed today on Cyber Monday as the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet with 16GB of storage and special offers, normally priced at $229, has had $50 shaved off to bring the price down to $179.
There are several different configurations for the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet and all are part of the $50 off sale. It just so happens that the 16GB with special offers is where you get the most bang for your buck from a percentage stand point. That doesn’t mean you can’t pick up a 64GB model without special offers for $274 and still save the same $50.

The only versions of the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet that are not on sale are those with 4G LTE connectivity through either Verizon or AT&T. Only the Wi-Fi models are eligible for the Kindle Fire HDX Cyber Monday sale.
