Online retailer Amazon.com has kept their low Blu-ray Disc sale prices on some of the hottest new releases past Christmas.
As of the morning after Christmas, Sony’s District 9 is the hottest seller at $17.99 or 55% off the nearly $40 list price. Other hot sellers hanging out in the hourly bestsellers chart are The Hangover, Inglourious Basterds, Star Trek, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Up, and Terminator Salvation.
Low prices have made some older titles popular again including The Dark Knight for $14.99, HBO’s Band of Brothers for $37.49, and Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series for $38.99.
